1. The Octathalon opens up new markets within the health clubs. For some the cost of one to one, tailored, personal training is prohibitive. The new Group Personal Training Sessions offers training to members for a fraction of the cost as the trainer facilitates a group of up to 12 people working in pairs and groups. The advantage is that many more members will want, and be able to afford, to gain from these classes.

2. The Group Personal Training sessions, because you will be taking up to 12 people at a time, offers a much higher rate of hourly income than one to one personal training session. As the Octathalon trainer you will be earning more per hour.
EASY TO RUN WITH GUIDEBOOKS
3. The Group Personal Training sessions are easy to run as you will be acting as a facilitator to members helping each other after your correct demonstrations. To assist you with these session, we have created the guidebooks. These guidebooks will allow you to easily run successful sessions for your members who will be running through 30 sessions with the goal of running through one of their chosen Octathalon courses at the end. What you will find is that members can and will return to do the sessions again and again as it will always be different and beneficial in their journey to greater health and fitness.
The initial Yellow Grade Guidebok is designed for absolute beginners to fitness as well as being flexible enough to cater for the fitter members. You and your group session members may well want progress on to do the higher grade courses.
All this provides a terrific longevity to what you can offer your members and shows how you can benefit from the Octathalon for many years to come.

4. The Octathalon also provides the trainer with other sources of income potential. A move up to become a higher grade trainer, will enable you to charge more for your sessions. Soon you will also be able to assess other lower grade trainers and earn from those days as well.. Beyond that you can learn from over 10 modules of further useful training and coaching information to become an Octathalon Coach. INTERNAL OCTATHALON EVENTS
5. You will also be licensed to run internal Octathalon events that are another good way to provide value to your members and to earn good money at the same time. We are here to support you in doing this and the guidebook gives you information on how to do this successfull. Marketing and literature support to help you will this is available to download from this site.

LOCAL EVENTS WILL PROMOTE YOU
6. Orange Grade and above Octathalon trainers aside from running their own internal Octathalon events in their clubs can also go on to run interclub competitions with other local clubs. Aside from entry fees, the spin off will be greater promotion of your own sessions.
We will look to support all interclub events - just contact us and let us help you.
These local events will be able to be promoted by your local media and the spin off from that will be even more interest in your Octathalon group training sessions and your club. We have even found that personal trainers have improved their numbers of one to one coaching by promoting the Octathalon in their area.

EASY - Just buy the Yellow grade Guidebook for £25. It comes with a license. Once the new members area comes along you will only need to be a member which will cost £15 a year.

PURCHASING THE YELLOW GRADE GUIDEBOOK INDICATES AGREEMENT TO THE LICENSE AGREEMENT
You may decide to go on to become a higher Orange Grade Trainer. To do this you will have to have an assessment running a yellow grade class from one of our Green Grade, or above, trainers. They will assess you and train you on how to run the Orange Grade courses. The assessment will require feedback from your customers in advance of the assessment day. On receipt of the assessment fee, we will send you details of the assessment and what you will have to evidence beforehand and what you will have to do on the day.
